All human beings are born naked, intellectually and spiritually ignorant, and totally dependent. We are all imperfect, mistake makers, slow to learn life’s lessons, and vulnerable to life’s influences, temptations and deceptions. We are all bipolar, i.e., negative and positive. We are all comprised of spirit and flesh (matter). We all have God or divine spirit in us. We all have the potential to create and destroy, to love, and hate, to be stressed and blessed, to be rich or poor, to be good, bad, and/or evil.
Who Am I – We all have two sides: a physical (human, visible) side, and a spiritual (God, invisible) side; we are the coexistence of both sides. The human side is in tune with the wants, desires, and needs of our physical body and the world. This is the negative/ego side of us, it must be controlled, or it will easily get caught up in the world. It is also the destructible side and is vulnerable to death.
The spiritual side is in tune with the God power and wisdom within us. This is the positive, invisible, mysterious, misunderstood, unused, and indestructible part of us that can magically cause our hopes and dreams to become reality. Both sides working in harmony will cause you to reach your full physical and spiritual potential and attain an abundantly blessed and fulfilling life.
There are not just two sides to man, there are also several parts that make man complete or whole. The whole man comes from the spiritual man. When man has discovered the spiritual man, he realizes that there are several different parts to him that he has to fulfill to make his life whole and complete. In other words, he realizes that there are men within the man.
The Spiritual Man – He/she seeks the spiritual truth about God and life, and frees his mind of erroneous and negative thoughts and belief, causing faith and trust in God for a safe, abundantly blessed, and fulfilling life.
The Physical Man – He/she values and takes care of his body, does preventative maintenance to ensure longevity.
The Moral/Ethical Man – He/she tries to do the right thing, does not do things that would harm others physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally or financially.
The Mental/Emotional Man – He/she controls his mind, stays focused on what’s important, doesn’t get distracted, and caught up in the world’s distractions and traps. Has a humble spirit, controls his emotions, and doesn’t get too high with the highs or too low with the lows.
The Intellectual Man – He/she goes to school to improve his intelligence and learn the things necessary to function effectively in the world.
The Family Man – He/she is dedicated to providing family the best and most comfortable life that is possible.
The Money Man (business, career, job, investments) – He/ she knows how to prosper and make money work to provide the wherewithal to financial freedom.
The Social Man – He/she gets along well with everyone; all races, creeds, colors and nationalities.
The Benevolent/Serving Man – He/she cares about humanity and the weak/less fortunate, gives his love, kindness, support, money, time, talent, knowledge and wisdom to make people’s lives better, and the world a better place.
The Leisure and Recreation Man – He/she likes to spend leisure time going places, having fun, and doing the things that bring enjoyment.
