The Power of BEING

Most people are so wrapped up in the illusion of constant doing that they forget the power of simply BEING. So why do most people need to always be on the go? What is so essential about getting things done that you never take moments to silence and enjoy the peace of conscious connection with your true spiritual self?

Believe this: no matter what items you place on your “To-Do List,” they will still be there waiting if you take a few minutes to enjoy the power of simply Being. It’s the space between thought and action that holds the power of the Universe. The mind’s clutter diminishes the power of the Universe if you are constantly going and doing. When we sit in silence, we open up to higher self-awareness, and solutions come bubbling up as if by magic. This eliminates stress; therefore, your physical body is rewarded with health.

Constant thinking is way overvalued and can hinder moving forward in life. If you are one of the many people who expend their energy worrying and constantly thinking about problems, consider there may be a better way to attain solutions to life’s challenges. Many of the most successful people in history learned the power of Being early on in their careers. In his book “Think and Grow Rich,” Napoleon Hill, still considered one of the most influential self-improvement works of all time, interviewed pre-selected millionaires to discover a common link to success. It took Napoleon Hill twenty years to complete his book, in which he describes the formula of becoming a success in not only business but, overall, in life itself.

While conducting his research, one of the most exciting insights Napoleon Hill discovered was a process that an American industrialist used to assist himself in becoming a multimillionaire – it was to sit and be still. He called this process “Sitting for Ideas,” where he would sit in a small room with nothing more than a desk, chair, tablet, and pencil. He would sit in solitude and wait for ideas to come. In reality, what he was experiencing was meditation in rudimentary form. Freeing the mind of thought and allowing the Universe to bring awareness to challenges provides solutions. This American industrialist knew there was a greater power than himself, which could manifest solutions to many of the business challenges he faced daily.

Therefore, the next time you feel a challenge in your life far beyond your control, perhaps it would be worthwhile to explore the power of BEING by sitting still in meditative silence. As your energy vibration increases, so does the power of solutions.

  • The Spiritual Significance of Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is far more than a day for flowers and breakfast in bed. It is an opportunity to pause, reflect, and honor the sacred bond between a mother and her child. Beyond the gestures of appreciation lies a profound spiritual significance that connects us to the universal essence of nurturing, selflessness, and unconditional love. […]

  • When You Love an Angry Person
People from all over the world write to me, mostly women but sometimes it is a man, asking about what they can do to help their family member, loved one or partner “control” his or her anger. Or how they can help “diffuse” their partner’s anger. They say that their partner is “such a good […]
  • Spiritual Guide Awareness
“Can anyone be a Spiritual Guide?” is more of a statement than a question because we are all One, and each one of us channels spiritual messages to one another in the spiritual realm of reality. We are all teachers and students, as well. Spiritual guide awareness occurs when one consciously focuses on bringing the […]
  • Appropriate Boundaries for Healthy Relationships
An appropriate boundary is that invisible line that separates you from the rest of the world. Within your boundary is that personal space where you feel safe and secure. In healthy relationships, where neither person needs to control the other, both partners understand fairness and the other person’s needs. They grant each other the right […]
